Northern Portugal is a beautiful part of Portugal with beautiful old towns like Porto, Braga, Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, and many small towns and villages which are well worth a visit.

Also lies on the border with Spain a national park where time stood still. The beginning of this park is about half an hour’s drive from Viana do Castelo. The beaches of northern Portugal are long, clean and not crowded. You drive the car to the beach and walk to the beach. Besides the beach of Amorosa, there are several other beaches such as Amarosa, Afife, Karreço, Vila Praia D’ancora and Moledo

The prices of food and drinks are much lower than in the Algarve. Extensive dinner with 4 people including coffee and drinks can cost you € 45,00 or less. An espresso costs on average € 0.55. That makes the holiday a lot cheaper and more fun.

Flying to North Portugal:
Fly easy to Porto from Eindhoven Airport, Brussels (Charleroi) and Dusseldorf Weeze with Ryan Air. Look for prices on www.ryanair.nl. Also you can fly with TAP Airlines from Amsterdam Schiphol. At the airport of Porto you can easily rent a car(via the website of Ryan Air) or if required we will arrange transportation for you.
